Travel guidance
Delegations are invited from Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Georgia and Kazakhstan, and from further afield.
Arrival
International flights arrive at Heydar Aliyev International Airport (GYD), north-east of the city centre.
Visas
Many nationalities can apply online for an electronic visa through Azerbaijan’s official ASAN Visa portal, and citizens of a number of countries may enter without one. Please check the requirements for your passport well before travel.

Baku keeps Azerbaijan Time, GMT+4. Registration opens at 08:00 local time on 16 December.
Currency
The local currency is the Azerbaijani manat (AZN).
December weather
Baku is cool and often windy in December. Pack a warm coat for time outdoors.

The host city
On the shore of the Caspian
Azerbaijan’s capital joins the walled Old City of Icherisheher, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to a modern skyline along the Caspian seafront. For the Conclave it is a meeting point for delegations from the South Caucasus, Türkiye and Central Asia.
